The first round of the NBA playoffs has been as exciting as it’s been slightly disappointing. Teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns didn’t come to play and have already been knocked out and eliminated.
There are a couple of series that have yet to be decided and with teams going toe-to-toe to keep their seasons alive.
Others are on the verge of elimination, but could still make a run. With that in mind, we’re going to share our picks for today’s slate.

New York Knicks vs Philadephia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers were quite close in their first two losses in the series, and they were even in the lead for most of Game 4 as well. However, they’re still 1-3 and their season could come to an end with a loss tonight.
Jalen Brunson has been spectacular, and Joel Embiid is still clearly hampered by his knee injury.
Even so, this game could and should come down to the wire and the very final possession, regardless of who wins.

Milwaukee Bucks vs Indiana Pacers
The Milwaukee Bucks struggled mightily against the Indiana Pacers all season long.
To make things even worse, they lost Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard to injuries, and they will remain out for Game 5.
The Pacers, despite their youth, have stayed in control of this series, and even tough they’ll play in a hostile environment on the road tonight, they should still be able to finish the job and secure a spot in the next round.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Orlando Magic
Following a couple of blowout losses and disappointing outings, it seems like the Orlando Magic have finally arrived. Their defense has been nothing short of spectacular, and their offense is finally starting to catch up.
It wouldn’t be shocking to see this series go to seven games, as both teams are quite similar, up-and-coming, and know each other pretty well.
With that in mind, we’ll take our chances with the underdog here.
